Time for a new UMK in-in-in-interview! Here are the answers of SATIN CIRCUS:
Name: Paul, Krippe, Axel, Olli
Age: P: 23 - K: 23 - A: 24 - O: 27
What do you do in the band?
Paul: Vocals and Bass
Krippe: Vocals and Guitar
Axel: Keyboards and Saxophone
Olli: Drums
Where are you right now? In the studio recording music for our upcoming second album.
What’s your strangest talent?
-Krippe can solve the Rubik's Cube in 31,5 secs.
-Axel has a pilot's license and flies as a hobby.
-Paul also works as a model, and his pictures have been seen e.g. in the Italian Vogue.
-Olli's IQ hasn't been tested, but it's assumed to be exceptionally high.
Home alone and you're bored. What do you do? Krippe probably plays computer games, Axel goes flying, Olli spends most of his time at the gym and Paul's probably cooking something fancy.
What are you really good at?
Krippe: Procrastinating
Olli: Playing ice hockey
Paul: I don't know if I'd qualify me as good, but I'm fairly good at history stuff, and more recently I'm also super into architecture.
Axel: Flying airplanes!
What are you really bad at?
Olli: Saving money. Every time I get some I just spend it right away :D
Krippe: Waking up early and being on time.
Paul: Fighting…
Axel: Getting boring stuff done. Like paying bills or fixing a broken lamp…
Childhood idol:
Olli: Finnish Ice Hockey star Teemu Selänne
Krippe: My cousin.
Paul:  Italian defender Paolo Maldini.
Axel: Film composer John Williams
Craziest thing you've ever done:
Olli: I once jumped down from a tennis hall's roof. It was many stories high, and it's really a miracle I'm still here and able to walk.
Axel: last summer me and Paul took our very small boat and drove all the way to Tallinn. If the coastguard would have caught us we would've had to leave the boat there cause we didn't have any licenses or anything :D luckily we made it home safe & alive!
Krippe: When I decided to join the band.
Paul: Imitated a famous finnish Ice Hockey commentator on a gig… plain stupid
What is your guilty pleasure?
Olli: Finnish reality TV series called "Poliisit"
Krippe: Drinking milk straight out of the jug.
Paul: Lemon sorbet
Axel: ask.fm :D
Name a song that never fails to make you happy:
Olli: TOTO - Africa (easily the best song ever made!)
Krippe: Whitney Houston - How Will I Know
Paul: Veronica Maggio - Jag Kommer
Axel: Owl City - If My Heart Was A House
How would you describe the band:
Satin Circus is a pop band full of energy and talent!
"Crossroads" is the title of your song. What can you tell me about it? Whats the story behind it?
Crossroads is quite a personal song for us because it's about things we're going through in our lives as individuals and as a band. It talks about the time when you feel like you're in the middle of youth and adulthood. There are lots of decisions to be made, and you realize you can't go on living your life in the carefree "let's just have fun" state of mind forever.
What can we expect to see on stage for the performance?
On stage we're always a very energetic and extrovert band, meaning that we're gonna make a hell of a show and make the audience feel like they are truly a part of it!

Did you watch Eurovision 2014? who was your favorite?
Olli: Yes I did. I have to say that my favorite was the Finnish representative Softengine :)
Krippe: Softengine :)
Paul: Carl Espen – Silent Storm (Norway)
Axel: Softengine
What do you like about Eurovision?
What we love about Eurovision is that it's all about having fun together. No one is discriminated, and no matter who wins everybody seems to be having a good time.
What are your plans for 2015?
Taking part in UMK is our number one priority right now, and we're doing everything we can to make it to the Eurovision Song Contest Final. We're recording our second album right now and planning to release it later this year. We're also touring in Finland, and hopefully later in the year elsewhere in Europe too! :)
Thanks to Satin Circus for the interview! Good luck in the UMK final!
